179 UPSC CAPF Assistant Commandant-Online Registration
The Central Armed Police Forces (CAPF) alludes to the uniform terminology of five security drives in India under the expert of Ministry of Home Affairs. They are the Border Security Force, Central Reserve Police Force, Central Industrial Security Force, Indo-Tibetan Border Police, and Sashastra Seema Bal.
The Union Public Service Commission is expected to conduct a Written Examination on 23rd July 2017 for recruitment of Assistant Commandant (Group A) in the Central Armed Police Forces (CAPF) viz. In order to recruit suitable applicants, the UPSC CAPF exam 2017 is expected to be conducted on 23rd July 2017. This exam is conducted every year and is one of the reputed exams in India. Applicants can find all related details below.
UPSC CAPF Registration Form:
Applicants who are interested can apply online from the official website of UPSC. Only online submission of application form available, other modes of applications are not allowed. Online applications can be filled by the applicants from 12th April 2017. Candidates have to pay a non- refundable application fee of Rs.200/- to complete the application process which is completely online.
Assistant Commandant Eligibility Criteria:
- The hopefuls must be a native of India.
- Male/female both are qualified to apply for the posts of Assistant Commandant in CRPF, CISF, SSB, BSF. However female competitors are not qualified to apply for ITBP.
- The competitors must have a Bachelor’s degree from a perceived college.
- The applicants more likely than not matured in the vicinity of 20 and 25 as on first August 2017.
- The applicants need to have the base physical benchmarks specified in the official notice.
Assistant Commandant Age Limit:
The applicant must be a minimum age of 20 years and not more than the age of 25 years as on 1st August 2017.
Note: Both male and female applicants can apply for the post of Assistant Commandants in CRPF, CISF, SSB and BSF.
The written examination consists of two modules-
General ability & intelligence– This paper will have Multiple choice questions. The questions will be printed both in English and Hindi. The question paper will be of maximum 250 marks.
General studies, essay & comprehension- In this paper, applicants can write either in Hindi or English. The medium of writing for Precise, comprehension, other language skills will be only English. The question paper will be of maximum 200 marks.
Assistant Commandant Selection Procedure:
The selection procedure will be of three stages. Which the candidates will have to qualify for the final selection. The stages are classified as:
Written examination, Physical & Medical standards Tests and Physical efficiency test (PET) and Personal Interview.

UPSC CAPF Application Fee:
It’s mandatory to pay a fee of Rs.200/- for all the candidates (Female/SC/ ST candidates are exempted from payment of fee) either by depositing the money in any SBI Branch by cash, or by using net banking facility provided by SBI, State Bank of Bikaner & Jaipur/State Bank of Hyderabad/ State Bank of Mysore /State Bank of Patiala/State Bank of Travancore or by using Visa/Master Credit/Debit Card.

CAPF UPSC Syllabus:
Paper I: General Ability and Intelligence.
In this the candidates will be tested on General Science, General Mental Ability, Indian Polity and Economy, Current Events of National and International Importance, Indian and World Geography, History of India
Paper II: General Studies, Essay, and Comprehension.
Part A: Essay questions will be framed on the following topics: modern Indian history especially of the polity and economy, geography, knowledge of security and human rights issues, freedom struggle and analytical ability.
Part B: Comprehension, precise writing, other communications/language skills – is compulsory to be attempted in English only (Marks 120) topics for precise writing is developing counter arguments, Comprehension passages, simple grammar and other aspects of language.
